Baby in a Pip and Phee bamboo footed sleeper
Flat bamboo

Bamboo footed sleepers

95% bamboo viscose with 5% spandex — silky, breathable and temperature regulating, so it works in July and January. This is the original fit, and the one most people mean when they say a Pip + Phee sleeper fits differently.

Baby in a Pip and Phee ribbed bamboo footed sleeper
Ribbed bamboo

Ribbed bamboo footed sleepers

Same fit, different hand. Ribbed in solids colours is 92% bamboo viscose to 8% spandex — a little more spandex than our flat bamboo, so it has noticeably more stretch and a soft vertical texture. Worth reaching for if your baby is between sizes, or long in the torso.

Baby in a Pip and Phee cotton footed sleeper
Cotton

Cotton footed sleepers

The same fit, in an OEKO-TEX® certified 93% cotton and 7% spandex blend. Breathable and a little crisper to the touch than bamboo — the one you'll reach for over and over again and that holds up wonderfully through washes and wears.

What size should I buy?

If you’re pregnant, we recommend having at least one newborn sleeper for those first few weeks. If your baby is born over 10 lbs and 22″, send us a message and we’ll gladly send you a size up. If you’re between sizes after that, we recommend sizing up.

Size Typical weight / height Recommendation
NB 6 to 10 lbs / up to 22″ Best for most newborns in the first days.
0–3M 8 to 12 lbs / up to 23.5″ Best for when baby starts chugging milky.
3–6M 12 to 15 lbs / up to 25″ Best for when they’re starting to gain head control.
6–9M 15 to 18 lbs / up to 27″ Best for when they’re almost jolly jumper ready.
9–12M 18 to 21 lbs / up to 28″ Best for when they’re wanting to be on the move.
12–18M 21 to 24 lbs / up to 31″ Best for when it’s been almost a year since your first sleeper!
When in doubt, size up

If your baby is over a few months old, go up. Our slim fit and ankle elastics mean a slightly big sleeper still wears well rather than feeling baggy and floppy — we’d rather you get more wear than not enough <3

Why people come back

Wow — I’ve never seen a sleeper actually fit a newborn this well!

Out of all the brands that we put on our babies, your brand is extraordinary. The zippers make for easy access to route the monitoring cords through, and they wash amazingly with minimal piling.

Purchased 0–3 months and loving the fit on my 7-week-old who is long and skinny. Other brands may fit her length, but they look sloppy — these don’t.

Best jammies on the market. They stay put on her legs when she’s kicking — the ankle elastic helps so much.
